Taking a rollercoaster ride can be fun and enjoying but when it comes to Mix-CDs, especially by a top
DJ, is definitely not.
Enter Mr. Mike, one of the respected DJs of the Swiss House music scene, unleashing his latest mix CD
to the masses.
The CD starts with "Portugues Lover", a nice samba house track but with the next song, it starts to go deep.
Then it goes up again with "Music's Gotcha Jumpin'" and higher with "Most Precious Love". Then it dips again
with "Nomadic Nights" and goes deeper "Salty" and plunges deeper with "The Fruit". I do enjoy the
transition between track seven, eight and nine. Beautifully done - but my enjoyment was shorlived when Joke
Joint, I mean Juke Joint's "Rude Boys" comes sneaking in.
The last 25 mins of the CD was the real let down. Commercialville galore, with tunes such as, "The Weekend",
"What Happened", "I See Girls" and of course "Strings Of Live".
Many apologies to you, sir but this CD doesn't fit your repertoire. In fact, if this CD were to be anonymous
I would think it belongs to some bedroom DJ who is just starting out and even after listening it for the fourth
time, this CD fails to sizzle.
